Well that didn't go well! Today I received an email from my hosting provider to tell me my site was infected and they had disabled my account.

Well that didn't go well! Today I received an email from my hosting provider to tell me my site was infected and they had disabled my account. This is my lessons learnt and some advice for others on how to secure your wordpress site.

We can't always stop everything but what measures can we take to protect our blogs from malware and viruses?

Wordfence
Regular Updates
Keep Tidy Plugins
Use Common Sense
